Symal, one of Australia's leading civil construction and resource recovery companies, partnered with Merge Technologies to bring its new South Melbourne head office to life.
The brief called for a technology environment that matched the ambition of the space itself: seamless, intuitive, and built to support the way modern teams actually work.

What we delivered
The AV deployment spans the entire workplace, integrating a range of best-in-class technologies. Microsoft Teams Rooms feature throughout meeting and collaboration spaces, providing consistent, easy-to-use video conferencing, while QSC Q-SYS NV Series powers AV-over-IP distribution, enabling flexible, scalable management of audio and video across the building.

HP Poly devices support high-quality voice and video collaboration, complemented by Absen LED displays delivering high-impact visual presence in key areas of the office. Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphones ensure natural, clear audio capture in meeting spaces, and Crestron AirMedia rounds out the experience with effortless wireless presentation and content sharing.

A standout challenge: the curved LED wall installation
One of the most technically demanding elements of the project was a custom-framed curved wall installation, a striking architectural feature that required precise engineering and close collaboration between our integration team and the build partners to achieve a flawless finish without compromising on functionality.
