Logitech Rally Bar landed in 2021 in a market full of fiddly, expensive video rooms. It was neither. It was easy to install, sensibly priced, and a real step up in how meetings felt. It became the benchmark.
It has also kept earning its place. There have been 18 CollabOS releases since launch, covering hundreds of improvements and new features. An upgrade to Android 12 keeps it supported through 2030. Every update has been free to every Rally Bar owner. Logitech pledged ten years of support, and the track record so far backs it up.
Which raises the obvious question: what’s next?
Say hello to Rally Bar 2
Rally Bar 2 is Logitech’s next-generation video bar, built for the AI era. It pairs top-tier video and audio with smart processing so that everyone in the room is seen and heard properly, not just whoever is sitting closest to the camera.
It’s the lead product in a wider Gen 2 portfolio that runs from the humble huddle room to complex professional audio visual spaces. Logitech’s pitch is that this is the foundation for the next decade of hybrid work rather than a facelift. It’s a big claim, and the spec sheet gives it some weight.

What’s changed under the hood
Easier rollouts. Auto-provisioning and straight forward installs mean you can deploy across multiple offices, regions and room types without reinventing the process each time. Upgrade paths are designed in, so standardised workflows and simple management carry forward.
More headroom. Gen 2 runs on Qualcomm’s latest Dragonwing platform, which leaves room for performance gains and new features over time. The portfolio is modular, and components connect through Logitech Link over standard category cabling. The aim is that a focus room and a boardroom behave the same way.
Built for enterprise IT. Android 15 and MDEP certification cover security and compliance requirements, and the long hardware lifecycle protects the investment.

Matching the tech to the room
No two clients’ meeting spaces look the same. One wants quick-catch-up huddle rooms. Another needs flexible hybrid areas. A third has a large boardroom with a demanding AV brief. Gen 2 spans plug-and-play BYOD through to multi-camera, AI-enhanced conference rooms, so you can hold a consistent standard across all of them.
In practice that comes down to three things:
1. Easy to use and manage, for the people in the room and the IT team behind them.
2. Smarter in the room, with RightSight 2, RightSound 3, and integrations across Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
3. Lighter on resources, thanks to recycled materials, energy-efficient design, and a longer life through software updates.

The short version
Rally Bar set the bar, then kept getting better at no extra cost to owners. Rally Bar 2 and the Gen 2 portfolio are built on the same idea, for the next ten years of meetings.
